I am really just bored with everything...finishing up and preparing to leave my firm, sick of looking for new apartments, tired of working on my resume, just everything.
I just want to have the next 4 months be over so I can start school. I need some excitement!
Anyone else have the post-decision, pre-law school doldrums?

What a pain in the neck! I have 9 more years of accumulated furniture, artwork, clothing, hobby stuff, games and electronics to try to fit into what I am certain will be a much smaller living space.
I am having a garage sale in May, and selling some stuff on Ebay. I don't mind simplifying my life, but it sure is a pain to do it!
Does anyone here want to buy 40 mystery novels?
How about a telephone bench made in the 1930s?
Do you want my boyfriend's "extra" Star Wars collectibles?
Someone, please pay me hundreds of dollars for this junk!

I wanted to post some stuff that was in my state's "bench and bar" survey, but I am not 100% sure where to put it in this forum. It is mostly law related, but not necessarily law school related. I do think that pre-1Ls would find it interesting.
At a party, some off duty Milwaukee cops beat up a guy for supposedly stealing one of their badges....the morons on the jury just found them not guilty.
WTF??? The guy didn't beat himself up!!!!
I hope that they charge these guys federally. There is talk of doing that b/c the cops said that they "put themselves on duty" when the incident happened. The man they beat up, Frank Jude, was hurt so bad, he had reconstructive surgery on his face.
The verdict was announced at midnight. I feel like going down to the courthouse to protest. I can't believe this Bullsh*t!
Last admission cycle has left me with little wrinkles on my forehead fromfrowning too much. I wonder if I should get it botoxed. I don't know anyone who has done this, but I would love to hear any info anyone has.
(See, I AM old!!!!!)
I didn't include this on any materials I sent the law school I will be attending. I went to lunch with another 1L who told me that I absolutely should let them know for the purpose of obtaining need-based aid. I am not sure it matters.
