I've heard a horror story where a professor was beaten up by a couple of disgruntled students who were told their exams were missing and were given Fs.

Why is that a horror story?!

Did they wear masks and shirts with their test number on it so he would know which exam it was? LMAO

Maybe a better idea would be not to speed, get arrested, or do anything else stupid to end up in jail.

An even better idea would be to ask a licensed attorney rather than a bunch of law students.

If you run into one of the student ambassadors, try to get the nickel tour.  There are some interesting little side stories for different places.  e.g. the letters on the stairs leading to the faculty offices.

I refuse to have a dorky rolling backpack. No offense to anyone with one already, but that is something i will never have.

Trying to win the law school fashion award?  Writing off something functional because it isn't aesthicially pleasing is probably not a good mindset to have right before starting law school.  Your focus should be on making your life as easy as possible.  Besides, I have a hard time believing that people would give someone a hard time in law school because of their backpack.

Maybe you can get them to raise your loan amount so that you can hire a work study undergrad to carry all your books.  :D

You know there's a Yuengling brewery in Tampa so there's no problem finding that B&T.

You had me at "brewery"   ;)  That is some of the best news I have heard since I was accepted!!!!!!!!!!!!

Current Law Students / Trip to Tampa

I am moving all of my stuff to St.Pete the week of June 20th.  If anyone else is in the area and wants to grab a beer, I am sure I will get bored of unpacking.  Lol...or if anyone wants to help move a few pieces of furniture, I will definately reward the help with some Yuengling Black and Tan.

For all you Tampa natives, where are some cool places to go while I am scoping out the area?  I figure I will spend half the day unpacking and the rest out lying on the beach or checking out the sights.

So..we are definately in at Emerald Bay Apartments.  I just talked to them today and they said they are offering 5% off the rent to Stetson Law students.  If anyone is thinking about applying, PM me so you can use me as a referral.
