Studying for the LSAT / Re: LG Improvement

I agree. I still was not able to do all four games, but I remember the first time I looked at that section: I just starred at it. The LGB is first-rate.

I did take their course.  And I used the books given to you in the course, which are different from the ones in the stores.  Again, not advocating them over any other test prep that I know nothing about.  Just thought that they were helpful, in a general sense.  Lots of personal attention.  However, I am less than overwhelmed at my score progress (163-172), so there may be better ways out there.

A 9-point increase is pretty damn good

I didn't take a pred course, but I did use the Powerscore LGB and LRB as well as the first two "Ten Actual Official..." books

they are also thinking about putting it on computer... (did anyone else get that survey?)... that would be awful, no diagrams for games or underlining, etc.

Yeah, I did get that survey. I thought it would be nice to be on a computer, but you are right about the diagramming, etc. If they dumped the games, it would not be as bad, but they would need some kind of highlighter tool for the RC and LR

The whole aural aspect does not sound fun. However, in the real world, most attorney's record their meetings, etc. so they can go back and listen to key parts. I don't know. I am glad I took it already. I just hope I did not blow it.

Are you thinking of keeping your score?

Here's my dilema: I was initially applying to only one school for 05. My state school which is tier one, and cheap and etc. I got pushed back because TM cancelled DEC course on me.

But after studying, I think with more studying I think I can get a 170, and go to better schools. But that would entail sitting around for another year working a crappy job.

So, for me I am wrestling with: hope to get started this august, or try for topschools?

That's a tough call. Because I could in theory psych myself out if I try to take the damn test again.

I am in the same boat. There is no way I a going to cancel. I figure if I can get into my cheap, tier 1 state school, then I am going this fall. My apps are in, my LOR's are in, just waiting for that damn score. If I totally bombed it, then I will retake anyway, and then I will consider expanding my options for 2006.  Time to hold the line

Hi everyone. I have never posted here before, but this damn test finally pulled me out of the woodwork. I am dying here. I read the porst about the email coming, and I can only imagine. Waiting is the worst part of this whole process.
