except for the last two years 04-05 cycle and 03-04 cycle Boston College has ranked higher than Boston University. It has been a very recent trend, and since the Dean at BU left, I think BC will move up.
or atleast i hope.
While BC is way prettier, BU I think keeps on top with its way higher job placement nad lower student faculty ratio. I mean, campus is nice, but really not up there on the list of what makes a ls great (like attractiveness of the study body).
I don't expect BC to pass BU anytime soon, esp. considering BC refuses to do formal concentration, while BU continues to place at the top in field such as IP.
I could see W&M staying put for now, but going up next year after the brand new library is complete.

i go to boston college law school
the law school campus is actually 1.5 miles away from the main campus (where the undergraduates and graduates have classes)
we have one large building with a cafeteria and a library. i believe it to be rather small, but perfectly comfortable for the amount of our student body.
it is really pretty, red brick, half the building is completely new including our law library. overall the only surprise i had was that you should bring a car if you have one, and the east coast is very very very cold (i'm from southern california/uc san diego)
let me know if you have any other specific questions

moving from Los Angeles to Boston soon, the lease starts sep 1, but school starts aug 30, trying to work on moving lease date earlier. either way, since i gotta fly on a plane, i think i'll just pack a duffle w/ a few days clothes and my trusty notebook. and then have the rest of my stuff shipped to me. i hate packing and unpacking but i love decorating new places of living!

OMFG! I so HATEEE U$C!
So anyway, I get home and I see this half-sheet sized envelope on my desk. I go to it, and I am like, OMFG it's USC and it's not the small flimsy "you're not good enough for this school" envelope. I sat down, and I told myself, 'don't get excited, it's nothing."
However, even telling myself that, I could not get the excitement out of my mind. I start to tremble just a little bit. I open up the evelope, and I am like bursting with excitement, then I read it. Then I sigh. Then it's of course, asking if I want to stay on the waitlist.
Okay, I want to go waitlist crazy propaganda mass package fedex mail USC with all the goodies that I have done since I first sent in my application. What is the best way to get off this waitlist (as I am sure you are all contemplating also.) Any hints? Should I drive down to USC, introduce myself to the dean, and drop off my package?
Okay, any help would be great. Goodluck everyone on getting in!
