Hmmm...well, let's just stop talking about the answers then and just sort of...relax.

Wyoming. 'Nuff said.

So a good question would be how could one be responsible and still appeal?

I mean why can't we just have domestic news sources that are representative of the American people? The American people are not all rednecks trailor trash or hippie geeks. We need middle-of the road coverage.

Yes, liberals are the only ones busy hobnobbing with elite, rich, white friends... ;)

When did liberalism become elitism? That's not liberalism. In fact, IMO, conservatism is the philosophy of elitism, even on the cultural issues. You can see this in all of the GOP points. They want to increase the secruity of those who are established while making it harder and harder for the non-elite to progress.

But this besides the point. Anti-Bush activism makes liberals into reactionaries. What I say by this is that it makes the Right into "The revolutionairy wave of the future" that is to be reacted to and that is the progressive and proactive movement. Basically, if liberals want to be liberals, they must take a more proactive view on the world and if they are rich, they either give their money away or become libertarians.

But how could Giuliani win the nomination? Although he is an economic libertarian and has a record of "holding individuals accountable for their actions". He is pro-choice and have two pro-choice candidates just won't happen.

State of Fear is a fictional book, not a scientific report. Second I would no more listen to a medical school grad on climate then I would go to an architect for a triple bypass. This seems to be a common tactic among those that want to argue a point that is contrary what the consensus is in the scientific community. Find someone who got some sort of advanced degree and who agrees with you and hold them up as some sort of expert. You see it in the evolution debate with people citing climatologist or astrophysicists and you see it with global warming.

The fact is that the planet is warming and we are mostly to blame. A recent compressive study of ocean temps was done and found that 1) They are getting higher and 2) no other explanation could account for it other then human action. Not volcanoes, not increased solar activity, not anything but humans.

While there is bias in the scientific community I find it highly unlikely that hundreds of thousands of scientists are conspiring to create a problem that doesnít exist to satisfy some sort of radical environmentalist agenda. Maybe they are being helped by the illuminati, the free masons, and the magic super computer they made with Hitlers brain. Oh and donít forget the aliens from the movie Arrival.

GOD DAMMAT!!! They are on to us!!!! Quick! We must start the Tin Foil Hat Eradication Project AT ONCE!!!!! GET YOUR RECYCLING BINS!!!!!

...and by the way, if the Right gets its conspiracy theories are we on the left and "radical center" allowed ours? Perhaps we should get some quack MD or Ph.D. in Vet. Sci. to find some evidence suggesting this:

*Sens. Colburn, DeMint, Santurom,Frist, Hutchinson and Gov.Bill Owens and several other members of the religous right are part of a secret cat-worshipping castration cult in Washington that is trying to resserct Sephiroth*  in order to take over the world!

* There is an alien fetus in Area 51 that heads Right to Life.

*You got to be a FF geek to know this.

This thread is funny as hell. First of all, the thread states by declaring an obvious fact that should be a common fact of which can be demonstrated by Bush's 7/01 bioethics speech.

But enough with that. Let's make this into an LSAT question.

The opposition to the article from CNN presents its case by:

A)Disproving one the premises.

B)Show that the premsises can lead to an alternate conclusion.

C)Citing an authority to counter-act the argument.

D)Attacking the character of the source.

E)Eating dog food while saying "Fuffelnuffeltelkshkin"
