I can imagine.  New Hampshire must be death in February.  Much like here in August...

You grow up there, or just go to school there?
Quote

I've lived in New England most of my life. Most of the time in New Hampshire, but I did spent a few years in Boston. I've never been outside of New England, although I've traveled throughout half of Europe.

I can only imagine what the heat must be like in TX. We get it in the summer too, but not as bad as you guys down there!! :)

Ahhh....Europe, where I first got KRUNK, YO!!!! I was 15.

Anyway. Europe was kind of chilly, but it was quite plesant.
One place close to my old home in Tampa was Miami and the Keys. It was still hot in the summer, but it had a chilled breeze and was quite lovely in the winter. However, Florida was kinda nasty in the winter even though it never gets to snow.

General Off-Topic Board / Re: In 2030
« on: February 23, 2005, 11:18:16 PM »
I will be 45 as of 5/7/30.... July 5, 2030 A.D. and my fiance, hopefully then wife will be 50 as of 8/8/30. My step-daughter will then be 29 years old and I will hopefully have 3 children of my own genes. By 2030, they could be 22,19, and 16.

I think that the United States of America will have gone under MAJOR correction by now. We will have been through a major war in 2006-2009 and 2013-2017(perhaps some nuclear exchange in both) and a major domestic disturbance by 2015. I beleive that by 2016, there will be a realignment, politically and that the next cycle will be begining.

On the global picture, I see the Middle East undergoing rapid industralization and democratic change. I can also see India and China as economic powers and potentially military powers. I see new multi-polarizism by 2030 as the EU,China, and India develop and potentially a new space race. by 2025, we could have an active race to Mars and to establish bases on the Moon.

I see the United States gaining an even greater hold on its own continent as Castro dies and more immigration and trade liberalization take hold.

I see in bio-technology a major take off as the political climate becomes more mild. I don't not see any human cloning but I do see cloning getting into tissue development as it has in California and the United Kingdom. I also see cloning in agriculture in order to feed the rapidly developing states in Asia.

However, I see Africa rapidly falling into more and more turmoil and perhaps by 2025, a third or perhaps two-thirds of Africa may be sweeped dead by HIV-AIDs, ethic purges, civil war and famines. Africa by 2050 may be mostly unlivible with the exception of the Middle Eastern States and South Africa.

I also see that Global Warming might be causing some problems by 2030. Perhaps biotechnology will be employed in the solving of these problems and perhaps eventually, global warming will start to cause major crises by the middle of the century.

Artificial Intellegence will for better or worse, reach the stage of sentinence on large machines and most homes will have PCs with the mental capacity of small mammals.

Perhaps pro-lifers should put babies that can just talk into fetal posistions and hold them up in the fetal position and make them shout "RIGHT TO LIFE"!!!!!!, in pro-life perades.

In fact, I have been practicing doing that to my 3 year old future step-daughter, Rosie, just for shits and giggles and then she "fetals" me and tells me "SAY RIGHT TO LIFE!" and also, I taught her to yell RIGHT TO LIFE out of the window, because I live in a Red State and thought it was cute. When Sen.Enzi came into class the other day, I almost had to contain me telling him about that.

5477
Or maybe a Pro-lifer would be like:

"There's a little baby, in the mommy's tummy and whenever there is an abortion, the baby's like NO! NO! DONT DO IT DONT DO IT!!!"

Well perhaps we should make the democrats the next party of small government through creating safety nets through law, not beuracracy and allowing communities to make their own values.

5479
Yeah, I like to call it "Post term Abortion". Unfortunately, if that was true, there would be few children left.  ;) But hell, post term abortion is the conservative alternative.

"Abortions for some, tiny American flags for others."

Let's see the reactions....

Abortions for none!

Crowd: BOOOOOOOO

Abortions for all!!
