Studying for the LSAT / bach question summary
« on: February 14, 2005, 11:19:05 AM »
I definately thought the bach question was about this guys new interpretation of bach's methods and then 2 reasons why he has a leg to stand on in his argument... it talks about reasons why it makes sense... then it goes to talking about critics of his argument... but, I NEVER remember him saying that the critics argument was wrong and than Ralstin was right!?
But several people have, so maybe this was there.... I am worried that because i missed this last element, I messed up the whole passage.
Was the main point of the passage something to do with the fact that a new view has critics but it is still "possible" i remember the word "possible" in the answer that I chose.
I would really, really appreciate it if someone could sum up the point of the passage and give the answers to the questions they remember.
Thanks!

Studying for the LSAT / Adreniline question... why we are wrong
« on: February 14, 2005, 09:43:13 AM »
Guys,
the adreniline question stated that some experiences, like frightening ones. release adreniline and adreniline causes you to remember the details more.  The conclusion is that frightening experiences make you remember things more.
The answer which i have seen misquoted as right says that satisfaction experiences also release adreniline... how careS??? This answer does nothing to the argument at hand which is that.
The absolute correct answer (guys, come on, this is right) says that some experiences are soo intense that they negate memmory ability.  Do you guys realize that this works perfectly to weaken the statement... this says that regardless of te fact that frghtening produce adreniline, which positively affects memmory, some experiences are so intense (like fright) that they actually reduce memmory ability.
DOES ANYONE POSSIBLY DISAGREE WITH THIS?

Studying for the LSAT / Adreniline, Frightening emotions memmory
« on: February 13, 2005, 08:20:34 PM »
Guys, to this question I put the answer that talked about satisfaction also raising adreniline levels, but I think now this is wrong!
It was a weaken question and this answr wakens nothing but seemed like a trap... satisfaction is another emotion raised, but it certainly doesnt directly address whats going on here.  I think the right answer was the one about some emotions are sooo crazy that they actually make it so you cant remember... this would weaken it since fright is a crazy emotion and this could then not make you remember....
Am i right about this?  Can someone state and explain their answer... thanks...

« on: February 13, 2005, 06:12:45 PM »
Did anyone have a question with an answer choice that had a typo in it?
If not, this may have been my experimental arguments section...
Also, I had 3 arguments sections, and I am still wondering if section 1 was experimental... was it????
Thanks guys,
Adam

Studying for the LSAT / Someone please help me!!!
« on: February 12, 2005, 09:05:00 PM »
On the LSAT today, I was done with the test and then as they were collecting section 5 I saw an eraser mark that wasnt properly erased.  I went to erase it and a proctor yelled at me!  She then came over with a citation that said "Misconduct warning"... she said... this is your first warning and the slip had spaces for warnings 1, 2, and dismisall... do any of you know what this will mean or what will this do?
Is a warning anything serious?
SOmeone help please, because I am sort of freaked out about this.
Thanks in advance for your help.
