Reviews, Visits, and Rankings / Anyone attend Ohio State's Admitted Student's Day?

Did anyone attend the OSU Admitted Student's Day this weekend? If so, what did you think of the school, the students, the administration and the surrounding community?

P.S.: Did anyone check out the new apartments right across the street from the law school?  I hear this is a really nice area. Any thoughts?????

I've been offered a scholarship at a school and I'm considering deferring my matriculation until next year. 
Does anyone know if schools who accept deferrals also honor their original scholarship offers?

Did anyone go to Case Western's admitted student's day this weekend? If so, what did you think about the school, the administration, the professors, the atmosphere and/or the city of Cleveland?

General board for soon-to-be 1Ls / Decided on Saint Louis University...Anyone Else Attending?

Although I still have apps pending at other schools, I've decided to attend the evening program at Saint Louis University in the fall.

I did an informal visit to the school today and loved the atmosphere and the facilities.  While I was in the area, I found a great apartment near the campus and should close on the lease this week.  Since I plan to work in St. Louis when I graduate, it seems SLU will be a perfect fit.

Anyone else decided on attending SLU?

Law School Applications / I'll Take a Rejection!!!!

I don't know about you, but it has been about four weeks since I've heard anything back from any school I've applied to. Good news: My last letter was an acceptance.  Bad news: I still haven't heard back from Northwestern, Duke, USC, Wash U, UIUC, Washington and Lee or any other school I'd really like to attend.  Hell, at this point, even a rejection letter would at least let me know my file has been reviewed somewhere.

Anyone else in this boat! Come on, someone has to feel my pain...

Where should I go next fall? / Washington University without $$ Vs Univ. of Missouri-Columbia with $$

I'm wondering whether to attend the University of Missouri Columbia with scholarship money or to attend Washington University St. Louis without schloarship aid.

I plan to stay in St. Louis after graduation, so does it really make sense to got into deep debt just for the Wash U name recognition?

Where should I go next fall? / Case and Cleveland? Pros and Cons

I've been accepted at Case Western and have heard nothing but good things about the school.  However, I don't know much about Cleveland. I read a report published by the mayor in 2003 and she mentioned that some people refer to Cleveland as "The mistake by the Lake."

Is Cleveland a really crappy place to live?
