i put my deposit down at WNEC b/c i havent heard from my first choice, Syracuse. i was wondering if anyone is familiar with this school. i thought the campus was very nice and so were the people there. anyone else have input?

i applied to syracuse on november 1st and still have no decision. anyone else having this problem? i really want to drive out there (its only an hour from me) and asked for the damn letter!

Unless i get a decision from syracuse sometime in the next 10 years, i plan on going to western new englan. Anyone else plan on going there in the fall?

Choosing the Right Law School / NOVA Southeastern has BIG BALLS
« on: April 10, 2005, 05:07:38 PM »
I just need to vent about how aggaravated i am with NOVA. I applied to NOVA the first day the applications became available in September. My numbers were way over their averages, thus i figured they might give me some money. Well, i waited and waited. finally i called them in february because i did not have a decision. they said they are sending all decisions out at one time, which will be the end of march (rolling admission?). i did get accepted, as expected, however

1.) i didnt get any money

2.) they wanted a 500.00 deposit within TWO WEEKS.

i called them to explain that i applied in september to give myself ample time to plan a trip to FLA, as i am from NY. i asked them to extend the deadline for the deposit, so i could book a trip to visit and they REFUSED. F#$CK THEM!

Anyone else have this experience with NOVA?

Choosing the Right Law School / Financial Aid Letter From Syracuse
« on: March 08, 2005, 02:26:42 PM »
I have been waiting since Nov. 1st for a decision from Syracuse. Today i received a letter asking me to foward them my tax forms, in order to complete my financial aid application. Does this mean anything or is it just wishful thinking?

I applied to Syracuse on November 1st and still have not received a decision. i would hate to assume that i will be rejected, as it is getting late in the game. can anyone offer me any reassurance?

Choosing the Right Law School / syracuse university

Does anyone have any advice regarding Syracuse U? I applied there in November and they stated that they are still reviewing my application. i assume i'm in a psuedo-hold pile. i have considered calling the director of admissions or asking a local judge (who graduated from there) to call on my behalf. Anyone have any input or advice! Thanks to all!

Surprisingly, I actually have a choice of where to attend law school in the fall of 2005. Thus far, I have been accepted to Western New England, Franklin Pierce, and Nova Southeastern. My dream school is Syracuse, but I'm not banking on them. Out of the above mentioned schools, where do you guys suggest i attend? BTW, the ranking of the schools arent important to me. They are all T3 and T4...i just want to go to a school where im content. Thanks for all your input!!!
