« on: March 10, 2005, 05:45:01 PM »
I received an email today stating that I received a $19,000 yearly scholarship at Case Western today. I thought it was cool especially since I didn't even know that I was accepted.  :D

Black Law Student Discussion Board / Re: Catholic or Howard
« on: March 10, 2005, 05:42:22 PM »
Thanks for the input! I didn't attend a HBCU for undergrad and really wanted that experience. I plan on staying local regardless (I'm from MD). As far as prestige, I'm not that concerned as long as I can find a job. I have a lot to consider before April 1st. :)

Black Law Student Discussion Board / Catholic or Howard
« on: March 10, 2005, 09:58:01 AM »
Hi, I'm new to the board. I am deciding between attending Catholic and Howard because of their location. Any suggestions on which one is better? BTW, Howard did not give me any money, Catholic gave me a $15,000 scholarship. ???

Acceptances / Howard vs Catholic
« on: March 09, 2005, 10:42:41 PM »
I'm torn between Howard and Catholic. I didn't receive any money from Howard, but received a $15,000 scholarship from Catholic. What are the views on the two? It seems like more firms recruit at Howard than Catholic. Any views?

Acceptances / Baltimore and Marquette!

I received an acceptance letter from Baltimore today. It was dated 2/18/05, Marquette was dated the 17th of Feb. This makes three acceptances and one waitlist so far: Baltimore, Catholic, Marquette; Pepperdine waitlist. So far so good. :)
