zakrob is our blended name, actually, and some of our friends/family call us that as a couple.
He calls me cutie, or ailment - which started when in a one month period I broke my foot, had tonsilitis, and passed out at work.

I know there are many of us still waiting to hear from UCLA, so I thought I'd share.
I just checked LSN and there were 3 new UCLA acceptances dated 4/2 and 4/4. I honestly didn't check them very closely, so I can't really make any generalizations, but I am hoping that this means more of us may hear good news from UCLA this week.  44

I went to the admitted students day at Hastings a couple of weeks ago, so I can add a little about that. It does basically amount to a tour of the school and it is a chance for them to sell themselves because they want you to go there. I found it informative and I am glad I went. I think it is really important to visit a school before deciding just to get a feel for the place where you'll be spending 3 years. I really like the urban environment and was impressed by the school in general, but I know others don't like it at all. Getting the chance to talk with current students was interesting and helpful and I also enjoyed the faculty panel. It was a good experience for me - but if you can't make an admitted students day I don't think it's that big of a deal - just make an effort to visit the school on your own if you can.

I am glad to see this topic, because it has definitely been on my mind.
I'll be almost 31 when I graduate, and I'd really like to work for at least 2-3 years before having a baby, but I don't want to wait much longer than that. My husband will be a nurse, which hopefully will allow more flexibility in terms of hours, and he has actually talked about working part time when we have kids which is totally fine by me. 46

When I visited I was told they plan for about 400 - 460 enroll, this years 1L class actually only has about 375. And like others have said, they admit about 1200.
