Choosing the Right Law School / Cardozo May FT and PT
« on: March 22, 2005, 02:36:24 PM »
Applied for September Admission, waitlisted, and asked about Cardozo May program...
Have a lot of people been offered this option and if so are you considering it?
Pros and Cons? On the fence whether or not I should say yes.

Law School Admissions / Re: Dogs (& pets) in LS

My fat pug's face is the only thing that makes me laugh after a long day at grad school. He and I are in the long haul together! If you get a dog, I would over the summer so that you can make sure he/she is trained and you can help it gradually adjust to you being gone for longer periods of time.

Choosing the Right Law School / Re: Hofstra email?
« on: March 18, 2005, 03:02:32 PM »
I got it too but have not heard anything. I heard this happened before and the people who got the e-mail were accepted. Some times schools send a bulk of acceptances out at once and maybe they have not gotten here yet. At least that is what I am telling myself. I love good news! Here are my thoughts:
1. Either they are really cruel and did not include the "this does not mean you have been accepted"...what I have begun to call the Brooklyn Law School clause since they mail out junk like every day getting my hopes up.
2. Hofstra has not been using a lot of promotional this is a good sign.

Bad Thought:
1. The website is not password protected like some other schools so maybe not good news.

Let's keep our fingers crossed!

I really hope this is a joke....I mean as a southern woman I am truly mortified. I thought the days of "Mona Lisa Smile" were over!

Well I don't know for sure...but I would agree that would be really freaking cruel. I have never heard of a school sending a rejection in a larger envelope. I really hope it is an acceptance. I always see you posting nice things for others and it is high time you got some good news! Good Luck!

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I love this show! So many people are gonna hate me now! I got them all hooked and even convinced my fiance's parents to get Showtime just so they could watch it! Why do they get rid of shows that are truly original...what does showtime need ratings? what is next survivor showtime? Damn Corporate America!

Choosing the Right Law School / Re: Question for Pace applicants

I applied in mid January and got an answer this weekend. If you really want to know, call and ask politely. They seem very nice on the phone. Good Luck!

Choosing the Right Law School / Re: In at Harvard with 160!!

ummm. Not sure if this is true, but I heard it was easier to get a higher score because the test was structured and scored differently. oh well. I stink at standardized testing so it would not have made a difference. life will go on

Choosing the Right Law School / Re: Would You Do the ADCOM?

Actually, now that I think about it I would rather do the LSAC people in charge of posting your score. That way I would not have to see them around school! What I would do for a 180!
