And yes, SOMETIMES, LawGirl loves Downy.

Why only sometimes?

I book brief now, but I do agree with Downy. Writing them out did help me to remember it better. In the beginning, I did the book brief for the first read, later typed it up, and then reviewed it before class. Just book briefing is working for me now, but I wish I had the time to still write it out. Now, I just book brief and review before class.

Ok, I'm a troll. What's the implication of that? Oh, there isn't one? Eat *&^%.

Two of my 5 classes this Spring semester are Constitutional Law and Property.  I've already bought my books as well as a book of briefs/outlines for both.  Any of you who have taken either of these courses,...do you have any recommendations for any other supplemental texts or even sites online that would be helpful...???

Emmanuel's is useless for con law. Use the Chemerinsky book.

Book briefing is always a good idea, even if you write them out.

I write out some, depending on the case and depending on how much time I have. I find that writing them out does not take long, as you can do it very efficiently, ie, one sentence of facts. Writing them out helps ingrain the case and principles in your mind so that you will do better than the other LFs who book brief and then forget every case come exams.

everyone needs to thank downy for turning the discussion board into troll central.

if anyone ever finds out who downy is, i would never hire them since 'downy' can't seem to figure out just what in the hell he/she is arguing.  from thread to thread, it's nothing but john kerry central - flip-flop from topic to topic.

with any luck, maybe downy can get into michigan tech and drink theirself into oblivion while shoveling snow.

Trolls fail unless morons pay attention to them and start threads about that. Didn't know that, did you?

Also, correction: "maybe downy can get into michigan tech and drink theirself into oblivion..."

DOWNY is one person, which means using "theirself" makes no sense. Maybe you can get into the local TTT high school and take some remedial English courses before you think about law school. I don't know if you're aware of this, but law school requires literacy and the ability to make cogent arguments. You are seriously lacking in both departments.

Some people just can't deal with it when their online utopias are shattered.

the reason why the whole world laughs at Cooley is because of the asinine rankings that they created in which it ranks itself higher than many nationally recognized prestigious schools.

DOWNY is a career Cooley-basher.
