I'm not under the erroneous impression that they have accepted me.  Maybe I'll get off the waitlist, but the odds aren't in my favor, I realize.  However, they could have sent me an out and out rejection, but chose not to.  I'm thrilled about that seeing as how they were such a huge reach for me.  I'm staying on the waitlist because I want to go there...I did when I applied and I still do now. 

My bubble has not burst quite yet.  When and if they pull people off the WL and I'm not one of them, then I will consider my bubble to have been burst. :)

I got waitlisted, and I'm definitely staying on the WL.  I loved the school and the area when I visited.  If they offer me a spot off the waitlist (provided it's not in August!), the only thing that could hold me back would be financial issues.

I got waitlisted and I am PUMPED!  :)  Honestly, I thought they would reject me in a heartbeat....it was a serious reach school. 

153+162=158 LSAT, UGPA: 3.53

While I'd like to think that I've got a waitlist coming, I'm pretty sure I'm slated for rejection: 153+162=158 LSAT, 3.53 UGPA.

I have an April 1st seat deposit, and I mentioned that to all of the schools, and I still got the standard response.  :(

I called three of the schools where I have outstanding applications, and two of them told me I should hear by mid-April and one said by May 1st.  I pretty much already knew that I would receive those answers, so I guess I just called to confirm and help reduce some of the "mailbox anxiety" each day. 

My guess is that you'll probably receive similar answers when you call your schools.  If it will help reduce some of your anxiety, I'd say call.  I was a bit nervous that they'd think I was "bothering" or harrassing them and hold it against me, but honestly, at this point, if THAT is what is going to push me over the edge, so be it.   ::)

I'm pretty sure at this point I'm going to Rutgers. I missed the UB Open House because I was on death's door (not really, I just had a *really bad* cold...).  They told me they'd hold my deposit date until after the next open house on 4/16, but I'm not sure they have enough going for them to beat out Rutgers for me.  They are certainly by far the cheapest option for me.  That and their PI Law program are what's keeping them in the running for me, at least for now. 

Did you happen to attend the Open House in March?
