I transfered in the Spring. I think many schools will permit a Spring transfer to replace the few students they lose from the Fall class. It seems like my school (OU) let in about 3-4 transfer students that Spring.

My decision went quick and I got in. Your stats look fine, don't worry about it! But my new school actually called me when the decision was made last Thursday. I didn't get the letter until this week. I had spoken with the admissions coordinator in October and asked her if she could give me a call. She's a sweetheart!
Good luck and stop glaring at the poor mailbox! After class go see a movie or something to get your mind off of everything. I know, good advise - impossible to follow! Good luck...
I didn't mean class like the 2006 - 2007 Fall starting class. I just meant the class after the Christmas break. Technically they would be Property II and Civ Pro II. Generally you use the same books for Property II that you did for Property I and so on.
For Civ Pro are you using Civil Procedure Doctrine, Practice, and Context, Subrin, et al, 2nd edition?
For Property are you using , Property, Dukeminier, et al, 6th edition?
I'm applying to transfer into OU for the Spring 07 class and was wondering if I would be buying more books or could use the ones I'm using now. I will be transferring from a part time program where I'm in my second year. Thanks...
I'm not a lawyer or anything but I believe that would be illegal. Something about fraud and/or theft maybe???
Not to mention that even under a one time use credit card (whatever that is) you would still have to provide personal information that could eventually be tracked back to you. You would eventually be held accountable and your record marked.
I'm not trying to take the pulpit here but are these really the ethics you plan on practicing law with? If you have the money then spring for the reference material. If not then suck it up and study the hard way with the free material you can find online and at the PTO website. You can buy a d**mn good outline from Paul [N] on e-bay for ~$30. Spend the money - save your reputation! It's just not worth it.
I just wanted to say that I went all out and spent the $1,600 plus for barbri and do not regret it a bit. The videos are awesome and have really helped put the whole system in perspective. Now I need to get off my rear and register with the PTO for the test. Good luck everyone!
