anybody else think that the LSDAS should be working 24-7 this time of year. seriously though, does anyone know what the Acrobat Reader symbol next to the "report date" on your law school reports page means?

I applied Regular Decision (12/21) and received the notification that my app. had been received yesterday. Like everyone else, prior to opening it I was thinking, "well sh*t, this sucks..." Would it be too much for USC to just send an email with APPLICATION RECEIVED in the subject heading? It would save a lot of people from experiencing unnecessary anxiety. Sheesh.
it would save paper too.

the Asian person has a much better shot. if you look at the LSAC school data, (site available upon request) you'll see that there are usually more Asians than blacks at each school. way, way more in some schools. you might as well be white. they don't put quotas on you guys. and that's life, they do prefer Asians.
Hmm I would like to weaken your argument by offering another explanation for why there are more Asians. It might not because they prefer Asians to blacks, it might be because more Asians apply.
well, hmmmm, let me just stomp a big mud-hole in your argument. actually more blacks apply to law school. data collected by the LSAC shows that 10,600 black people applied to law school in 2003, while 8,060 Asians applied. check for yourself at: http://www.lsacnet.org/LSAC.asp?url=lsac/data/vs-eg.htm. got some more smart ideas you'd like for me to shoot down?

not joking. look at the profiles of HY&S, it's just about impossible to get in with a 3.0, i don't care who you are, or what your LSAT score says.

Imagine Yale in 20 years.......they only accept people from T-5 undergrad, 4.0/180 minimum, with 0 questions missed (if you get 97 credited responses and a 180, you're SOL, you can't miss anything). And you should have graduated undergrad within 2 years of starting college. And you better have fixed one world problem.

Why not make the candidates do all this before turning 20 years old as well?
now that's funny, and believable!
