Wow its worst than I thought. I am so glad I struck a blow for good. Next time you're surfing the net at work, visualize me standing over your shoulders, yelling "thief!", and pointing to the screen as evidence.

I figured out the root cause of Amarain's criticism. She was upset that I characterized excessive internet use at work, as stealing from your employer. This is confirmed by her post in the thread below, which evidences her lack of work ethic. I rightfully put her in her place in the thread, striking a blow for managers everywhere.

In closing, it is stealing. You are a thief if you do it. Imagine hiring and paying a day laborer only to have him surf the internet all day.  >:(

Which scentences don't you two understand?

"Scentences?"  I don't know.  I don't have my smell-o-vision on.   ;)

Thats why people like me have assistants and clerks (i.e. Widener grads) like you. While I come up with the ideas, you can check my work for spelling. We'll be like a team.

Sorry ...

I thought it was hilarious because it was just so spot on in regards to my own experience in the office environment

It feels so good to put people in their place, using their own posts. I think I'll leave this thread on a high note.

Well, I wasn't going to give him any attention, but since it's too late, I'll just say that I actually thought it was pretty hilarious, especially the part about the fake English accent. I mean, seriously, huh? You're only making yourself look bad, my friend.

To repeat my question, which of the main characters did you relate to? You said you related to the movie. Which character(s) did you relate to?

This post is miserably stupid.

The fact that you would reactively criticize it without simultaneously offering any justification shows that it was probably "spot on," and touched a little too close to home. What about the post was "miserably stupid." Also, which of the movie's characters did you relate to?

I thought it was hilarious because it was just so spot on in regards to my own experience in the office environment - the commute, the TPS reports, the 8 different bosses, the 'corporatespeak'. The characters and situations were really only slight exaggerations of reality, but were just exaggerated enough to be funny.

It was not "spot on." (As an aside, we're not in England so please don't go pulling a Madonna-esque fake english accent.)

It was to the work world what Beavis & Butthead was to teenage life. My teenage years were nothing like B&B, and my work life was nothing like office space. I can't imagine that anyone would be so pathetic that they would relate to that movie. So I can laugh at you even more, which of the main characters did you relate to?

Well, it started out intelligible (not to be confused with intelligent), although just plain mean-spirited, then disintegrated into something about stealing from your employer and then I have no idea what the last paragraph was about.

Assuming you're telling the truth about not understanding the post ... Please quote the scentences you don't understand, and I will be happy to explain them to you.

You people misjudge me. If confronted with an angry homeless person who is jealous of my wealth, fashion, intelligence, whatever ...  I don't stay and argue. I regret being in the area and move on. Similarly, when confronted with the riff-raff on this board, I don't stay and argue. Nor am I concerned with it. Although the moderation on this board is poor, in the real world, I will have access to security guards for people like you.

I think its telling though that Ms. Julie spends little time on this board during the weekend, but is on the board every minute while at work.

See, people like Julie, people who do not hesitate to steal from whoever they can, thieves, have no problem stealing from their employer. So when you read Julie's posts, just know that they are "Julie Fern's posts, sponsored by [her employer.]"

Also, something tells me Ms. Paltrow wasn't discovered by a producer who was infatuated with her beauty. She was placed by a temp agency who didn't judge her figure and who valued her typing skills and relative lack of BO.

Good day.
