I really suggest that you buy the vault law school buzz book.

I have the BU and GW surveys archived if you want them, but you will need firefox and the MAF plugin to view them.

arbitrary numbers:

Instead of the average person applying to 7 schools, they applied to 10.  So even though there are fewer applicants, the # of apps per person went up more than enough to compensate.

It will be higher this year, because while # of apps are up, # of applicants are down.  Remember to remind them once per month that you're still interested.

Can you get into a better school?  Does your state have reciprocity with washington or wisconsin?  Or even oregon? 

I think those would be good deals.  Also, hey, you never know, you may get offered scholarships from some private schools based on your #s

It also depends on how competitive the work you're trying to get is.  Do you want to chase a paycheck in biglaw?  Do you want to be a public defender?  Do you want to go solo?  Do you want to clerk for SCOTUS?

Prestige may or may not be worth the price tag for you, depending on what you want to do... for those of you who are lucky enough to actually know what it is that you want to do. :D

I would be happy graduating from any of the schools to which I've applied.  I just wish I would have applied to more competitive schools instead (not applying to UNC is bugging me)
