HBCU, I admit you have a valid point about some White Dems taking Black people for granted. It hardly seems that the appropriate reaction is to join the Republicans, a party whose policies fly in the face of what Black people need to be lifted up in our society.
Now, if you were advocating a third party or something like that, I could maybe stand behind you. But running to the Republican Party? How does that solve anything?
Yes. This is the flaw of the Black Republican schtick. They talk about the problems of the Democratic party, sometimes persuasively. Their solution? To join a party that even emobdies the problems of the Democratic party even more so. Perhaps Black Republicans missed that class on logic.
