Financial Aid / Re: Grad PLUS
« on: April 14, 2006, 04:00:58 PM »
does anyone know if the grad plus loans will be available for this year?? i was under the impression that its still up in the air... ???

I read on the Wachovia site that the funds will be ready on July 1st.

Just got back from AC and again it was a sweet time.  Won a nice chunk in 10/20, lost a little in BJ, and of course got drunk as hell.

I thought I saw some signs saying there is a direct train route from Philly into AC, is that true???  Anyone have any info on that?

The free drinks are such a nice perk, especially at the Borgata where they pretty much make whatever you want if you're playing poker.

Yeah Kev, the good thing about the entire communtiy was that everything was close to the apartment complexes it seemed. The banks, the grocery store, the CVS, the bars, a 15-20 minute drive gets you to everywhere that you want to go.

Anyone else play a lot of poker and gamble a lot in general???  We will be only an hour and a half or so from AC.

This summer I will probably be at AC about 4-5x a week hopefully playing poker as my job and generally just doing what I love all summer long.  AC is a little less than an hour from where I live in NJ.

My dad lives about 25 minutes away from AC, I'm more of a roulette person though.
I absolutely love the Borgata, seeing the cocktail waitresses that they have is worth the trip itself.

I've been looking on and using the housing sheet that Nova provided me, seems a little costly for rent, especially around school, which is understandable because it's the Main Line. I figure since I'd like to have my own room for next year that I'm likely to pay anywhere from $600 to $700 a month counting utilities if I'm living in the area. Conshohocken is a bit cheaper though, as is King of Prussia, but the traffic can be a bit much.

Anybody who's got good info for housing next year, shoot me a PM...

Incoming 1Ls / Villanova Law Discussion Board
« on: April 11, 2006, 02:54:56 PM »
I've created a discussion board for soon-to-be Nova 1Ls for next year, anyone coming to Nova next year should join:

Dammit, with all of the withdraws that Nova had on LSN I really thought you had a good chance.

Choosing the Right Law School / Re: Villnova or Maryland?
« on: April 05, 2006, 07:53:41 PM »
Basically comes down to where you want to practice. Nova if you want to work in PA or NJ, Maryland if you want to work in MD.

As do I, you really want to go there it seems. Though I can't blame you because I took a trip up there today and scouted out the area, which is really nice.
