Choosing the Right Law School / Re: WashU: and the endless mailers

Somewhat related

They had a table at the grad school fair at my school and I ended up with 2 or 3 different big glossy pamphlets and 2 fact sheets.  I guess they just don't want to lose a potential for lack of trying.

I'll do it tonight, been spending too much time at the hospital but I will get it posted later.

Wonderful, thanks very much.

Studying for the LSAT / Re: October vs June
« on: December 28, 2004, 04:08:10 PM »
I'm going to take it in June, because I'll be free of school.  If it conflicted with finals, I might reconsider.  October would probably wind up being in the middle of midterms and other school stuff for me, so I'm wary of that.

My brother took it in the October of his senior year, but says he wishes he'd have taken it in June.  It didn't affect his decisions, but the whole app process would have been less stressful if he'd already had his score and everything.

So does anyone know if there is an answer key and/or explanations yet?

Law School Admissions / Re: What to do (past charges addendum)

From what I've been told by admissions officers, as long as it's minor stuff, like the kind of offenses you guys are talking about, it's best to disclose.  If you don't and tell them later on, they have to reconvene the admissions committee and decide if they would have still admitted you.  And if you don't tell them, the Bar will find out when they do a background check and might not let you sit.

Thanks for the tips guys.  Anyone else have any thoughts?  If it helps, I started as history and added english as my double during my soph year.

Do you guys think that I need to get a rec from a professor in both of my majors?  Would it look bad to have two from one and none from the other?  I plan to get a third from a judge that I worked for in her private practice for two summers.

PS I know it's a bit late, I'm not applying this cycle.
