Well guys... I received a letter from FSU. We regret, blah, blah blah, we've had a higher number of applicants who scored exceptionally well on the "traditional indicators" of law school success, blah blah blah, invite to transfer after first year, contact office for details, blah, blah. Basically, my LSAT is too low.
I called Case and they said they've decided on all their holds and that I should be contacted this week--but barring an act of God I'm not going to be able to afford it even if an offer was made.
I'll take some time to think things over--maybe apply to Stetson for the Spring, maybe wait a year. Fairly depressing but not totally unexpected I must say. You guys have been great, I've appreciated your support throughout all this. I'll keep hanging around for a bit.
knowing how well everything has gone so far im gonna get a rejection letter and it wont come til june 1st
If you follow that trend then yeah, I should get one too, but I'm trying to be optimistic.
Wolfie: Yeah I must have missed that... Did you call last week?
You really think these remaining schools will send out decisions this week?
Plus when I called last week (Thursday?) they said I'd hear within about a week.
It is THE Sunday. I think a good deal of resolution will come this week. If we don't actually receive letters, I think they'll be sent. Good luck to all that are still waiting. May we all celebrate over some Bob's this weekend.

Last week being last work-week. I think it was the 19th. Sorry, I was considering the week over and did not realize it had five hours left at the time. So, no, I should receive somthing this week. Which is, the week we are currently in, as of Sunday, May 22, 2005.
acore, you get that letter from um? if not, interesting...
I called last week and the girl I spoke to said my file was "in review as we speak." She added I would recieve something within a week. This is pretty much my last--best--hope. I hope it's good news.
Wow, it seems like everyone around here is married. So am I the only single, non-married guy who isn't really in anywhere yet?? LOL
Nope, I'm right here with ya.
