I work full-time and will be starting school part-time in August. My classes are Mon. Tues. & Thurs. from 6:30p-10:30p. I don't really want to go with the "canned briefs" or "commercial outline" route, but like the previous post, it may be necessary.
Any of you prepping already? I'm ready the E&E series. 14
General board for soon-to-be 1Ls / Re: Just bought a Dell 6000d today anyone else?« on: May 05, 2005, 04:06:35 PM »
I got my 6000 last week. Right out of the box, the hard drive was making a loud noise. Dell sent me a new one overnight but that one also makes a disturbing sound. My previous 2 laptops (both Dell) never made that type of noise. I am now sending it back, asking for a replacement.
Were you a little disappointed with the resolution of the screen? I've seen better on Toshibas & Sonys. My config: Pentium M 1.6 512 RAM upgraded screen DVD & CD burner 9 cell battery extra battery normal whistles & bells Total: $1195.00 I too didn't like the size of the 700m and the 600m looks a little flimsy. 15
General board for soon-to-be 1Ls / Are you currently part-time in law school?« on: May 02, 2005, 07:42:59 PM »
I start PT this fall and would love to know your typical week. Work, class, studying...what is your schedule? How much free time do you really have?
I work 7:30am-5:30pm M-F, will be going to class 3 nights a week and I'm trying to prepare for what is ahead. Thanks! 16

I'm going part-time to Florida A&M College of Law in Orlando, Florida. I work from 7:30am-5:30pm. Are you guys worried about keeping up with the load? At FAMU, part-time is 11 hours vs. 15. Still a lot of work.
I've begun prepping with Primers...you? 17

I question that promotion. The site said it started at 8:00am Eastern. I tried to purchase a laptop 4 times between 8:00am & 8:15am and repeatedly received a "expired coupon" message.
45 minutes of redemption my butt. 18
