« on: April 01, 2003, 07:26:21 PM »
i think northwestern is number one and i know that vermont law school is definitely number 2 for environmental law. check us news & world reports website. They have a special category for environmental law rankings.

Where should I go next fall? / Re: 3.35 GPA w/ a 143 LSAT
« on: April 01, 2003, 07:10:32 PM »
j1- i had a 143 lsat and had a very very hard time. I had a good gpa, great recs, extensive extracurriculars like pres. of law club etc. So finally, with my low lsat I managed to get into a third tier school. Use Lsac's website, because you can caluculate your odds and see listings of who got accpeted with what stats. You may have to seriously relocate and  I would stay away from applying to schools in big cities even if you are within their range.

General board for soon-to-be 1Ls / Re: New England School of Law
« on: April 18, 2003, 01:38:08 PM »
hey..last year i applied to New England and was wait listed. This year I applied again (took a yr off and did some legal assistant work) and was rejected. The guy that normally answers the phone at New England is Chris. I practically know him. However, he won't tell you too much info over the phone .I applied to New England in Oct. and got that rejection in early Feb. When I was applying last yr., I also applied to Suffolk and was rejected. But anyways...I'm going to Vermont Law School in August.
