Well, if you don't wind up at Yale and you have some real estate ideas for Cambridge, let me know!  :)

Are you set on H?  If I were to place a bet on anyone getting into Y, it would be you.

Thanks for the offer.  Like maximumtennis, however, I want to visit schools in March/April before deciding on housing options.

158 page binder for each admit...wow...I guess that's where all those app fees go!!

To their credit, however, they do print double-sided  ;)

Hmmm...which raises a question - any straight men aside from alci get into Yale yet?

Lol, yes.  HBI (hot_beef_injunction) on xoxo got in as well.

Yeah, I met her in person when she came to my school.  She's quite young.

Hmm...Hickey, you have a point.  I almost think people who get into YLS feel like they HAVE to go because it's Yale Law School...even if it wouldn't necessarily be the right place for them.  That said, I have a feeling Yale's admissions process generally matches people fairly well with the school environment.

I agree.

Does the idea of going to a school where you could very likely be the dumbest person in a small class bother you?  It's one thing to be dumb in a big class, but being dumb in a small class has to suck a LOT.

At Yale, I don't think there would necessarily be a "dumbest" person in the class.  With its LSAT range, everyone is going to be relatively equal.  There might be some geniuses, but everyone else will be generally bright.  Now, that says nothing about work ethic.  One might give off the appearance of being dumb if one comes to class unprepared when everyone else is prepared.

in a minute and 25 seconds, i don't think i said anything other than "this is she" and "thank you!"  though it did cross my mind to offer her my credit card number so she can go ahead and charge the deposit now ;)

they should have taken away your acceptance for saying "this is she" instead of the actually correct, "this is her."  Why do so many people say "this is he" or "this is she"?  You would never use "he" or "she" in that sentence when referring to someone else.  Sorry, i'm not usually anal, but sooooo many people make this mistake all the time and it drives me crazy.  :-)

"Is" is a linking verb.  "She" is a predicate nominative.  "This is she" is correct.  Did we not learn this in grade school?

KeysToKingdom-
Excellent post.  I am a recent YHS admit and have been researching all three.  I am leaning towards Yale, and it's nice to see that people are truly having a good time.  Have you come across the following thread:

http://www.xoxohth.com/thread.php?thread_id=117818&mc=48&forum_id=2#top

What do you think about the views expressed by the current students in that thread?

Yup.  One week after the 2nd Harvard admit weekend.  S seems to be the only one that's over a real weekend.
