Where should I go next fall? / Re: Notre Dame has me scared to death

You'll get into Notre Dame - but honestly BYU is just as good.  Case is no where near either of those..

Notre Dame is weak - they want to be a top school, but are faced with the harsh backdrop of Indiana.  Go to BYU - The degree is more respected in the West than ND.

ND is more respected than BYU on the west coast. Are you moronMorman? BYU is VERY conservative.

Isn't ND a pretty conservative school too?

Most schools send out letters in batches, so I wouldn't worry about it quite yet.  I'm sure your letter is on its way...

I applied first week in October as well, and my report was requested in a few weeks with a snail mail complete postcard around Nov. 1.  This is taking way tooooooo long!  :(

The only study abroad I know of is Notre Dame but since they WL me I guess that isn't really an option anymore.  If Emory has any programs, I'd love to know as it's at the top of my list right now...

I know it plays in a lot for UNC; I believe 75-80% of their class is in-state.  I'm in the same boat and it stinks!  Don't know much about the others though.  Sorry.

I'm in too.  3.63/163.  Complete mid-October.

I'd say the Richmond people have been friendlist so far.  They've followed up with numerous phone calls and a call from the dean for lunch was the nicest offer I've gotten so far  :)

Received my decision via phone call first then snail mail -- much like everyone else.  Did get an interesting phone call from the Dean yesterday saying that she is going to be in NY on Friday and would like to take me out for lunch.  Unfortunately, I live in DC and am just having my mail sent home to NY.  Oh well.
