If I get in, I'm going no questions asked. If not, I'm going to put a deposit down at either Wake, GW, or Emory (visiting this weekend and next) and probably play out the waitlist game a little with W&M, W&L and (maybe) UNC. All in all, I have no idea what I'm doing with my life.

I've been thinking about this all morning (I'm sure my boss would love to hear that). For a class of 230 how many people do they admit? 500? According to LSN their numbers are still pretty low, so will this dean really be making hundreds of phone calls himself. These call could go until tomorrow at this rate...

"the dean will be making a few more admit decisions this afternoon and will actually be calling those people so if you are admitted you will receive a phone call some time this afternoon"
-wench that answers the phone at chapel hill. last one and hoping it's good news and it comes early in the day (but not anticipating either because this is the most incompetent admissions staff i have ever encountered)

But on second thought, I realized that they've had my application since the end of September. I didn't get a formal complete notice until mid November, but they requested my report in early October. I think I'm more than entitled to my decision at this point, so I'm gonna be on the phone Friday morning like all you guys. Jacy, are you going to Emory's admit day on the 9th? 18

I called yesterday and (I know this is different from what others have been told) they told me that all decisions would be dated April 1st and they would give decisions over the phone on Friday.

I was just told by the admissions office that my letter will be in a batch postmarked April 1st, and that I can call on Friday to talk to an admissions counselor. agggghhhh.
