Law School Admissions / Re: Mail in Application

If you mail in your application, how long does it take until it is processed?

Usually the schools will send you a letter or email once your application is complete

That's an interesting site; now if every question asked in a real class was multiple choice, law school would be easy :)

Just wanted to let anyone know that Drake Law school still is taking applications for this year's fall class. I guess they really are in desparate need of people

Choosing the Right Law School / Re: In-State Advantages

University of Arizona restricts the number of out-of-state applicants they accept. However, they will give preferential treatment to ppl from Alaska for the lack of a law school there. I also believe ASU does that as well.

Arizona also lets applicants, even if they live out of state, that graduated undergrad the same advantage as residents of the state

I've bought my books at the school bookstore. The total came to $485- all new books- and 4 of them were big casebooks which ran about $110 each. The only things I need now to buy are some supplements- I still can't decide what to get- thinking I need outlines, case summaries, and the E&E's- this is what will add probably about $200

_This thread is from 2 years ago!

LSAC should be able to calculate your overall gpa correctly. Your UG transcripts should say what classes are from the community college and then LSAC shouldn't count the classes twice

I've heard of fellows being a professor's research assistants

What a nice grandfather to call a professor...
