Choosing the Right Law School / Re: Cleveland State
« on: April 06, 2005, 05:20:08 PM »
I called today to speak with Dean Stewart about the flood of questions that came to my head after the letter came in the mail.  She said that the picture is just for their records and it did not even matter if they got it now, just as long as they have it before August.  She spoke with me a bit about my LCOP concerns.  LCOP starts on Mat 31.  My UGrad graduated people in at the end of April.  However, I am not going to be done with my BS by then.  So, I have three weeks to complete a religion course and do some papers and the like.  BUT, I won't be graduated, even though I am done, untill August when my Ugrad graduates a class again.  So I have tog et a letter of completion.

I then got transfered to the FinAid office and they said they were going to to have award letters out by the end of April.  Wow, big day, lots of phone work.

Thanks no, that was good stuff.  I am sending my deposit to CSU today... I just have to figure what they want to do with my picture.

Yeah, itís way cool.  All you have to do is pass.  Iím willing place my bets that I donít fail my first class in law school ;-)  Then they have some continued support throughout the years.  I donít know, Iím sort of happy to have all the help I can get in whatever form it comes in.  NE way, thanks man.

I got into Cleveland-Marshall.. I GET TO GO HOME!!!!  I am going to their LCOP program so I have to be back in the area ALOT sooner than I thought.  I sent a letter of continued interest overnight last week it got there on March 30th letter dated March 31st. But there are others who got in at the same time so I don't know if it was my letter or if it was in the works.  At any rate, I now present for your viewing pleasure my "I got in dace" preformed by Snoopy.

Acceptances, Denials, and Waitlists / Re: ANY news on CUNY?

I was dinged at the middle of last month.  I sent a follow-up e-mail ("what can I do better next time") but got no response.  I got no TAP application.  In another post I read that the TAP is only an indication of financial aid application.  Do a search for TAP and CUNY.  Again, good luck.

Just a denial. Then they went silent.... no updates on LSN since the last batch.  Sent an e-mail with no response.  Good luck.

Would you be willing to post the details of your visit, your thoughts, how it "muddy"ied things, to this thread:,23559.0.html

I REALLY want to hear what you have to say. I tell ya what, I have my fingers crossed like CRAZY! Thank man.

So... no letter at home.  BUT, I called today and, not by intention, got the Dean.  She said "we just verify that the e-mail address is yours...because they go on an admitted students list-serve"  Now, she did not say that I was going on the admitted students list serve so, it could just be that they verify everybody and then only put on those who got in.  Did anybody get the aforementioned e-mail and NOT get in?
