1. my problem is that i want to get another, but i don't want to have another.  hence, the cover-up.

2. my first was done by a guy named tony with tattoos up his neck and all over his bald head.  not hot.

3. my second was done by another guy named tony, old and cigar smoking.  again, not hot.

4. but, my boyfriend is very hot, so i don't have to go looking around for hot guys too often. THalky, you'd like him...i think.  Dark hair, light eyes, guy.  I like him. haha

1.  I LOVE when you post anywhere, lauralynne, cause I adore your puppy!  He/she looks very cute, and I'd love to play with it and love it and pet it and hug it and...well, you get the point.  I can't wait till I have enough back yard space to get a boxer or a pitbull.  Pitbulls are one of my favs!

1. Wow, that was nice.  Ella (she's a girl) is the friendliest dog around.  She does this funny shake thing.  First, her tail (a little stump) starts going slowly, then it speeds up, and her butt starts shaking like crazy.  Next, she starts to bend herself in half (where her butt comes up to meet her head).  Back and forth, back and forth.  When she's on my hardwood floors, I say that she's sammy davis junior...tapdancing.

2. My BF got a tattoo a year ago of a rosary around his neck.  He let the guy do it freehand.  Now he's unhappy with it and wants to have it removed.  THAT will hurt like a b*tch!

3. The pain of getting a tattoo is a good pain.  Somewhat addicting.  Sick, I know.

1. Actually I'm in Pittsburgh...not typically warm, but around 55-60 today.

2. I love flip flops and wear them whenever there is not snow on the ground...often with turtleneck sweaters.  Looks funny, but i don't care.

3. Tattoos.  Anyone got them?  I have 2.  One on my foot (Chinese character for "Luck and happiness") and one on my sweet spot (lower back, flower and tribal thing).  Looking to get the one on my back covered up with a dragon.

topamax has been on the market to treat epilepsy for a while now, and physicians have been using it off-label for migraine treatment...but now they can safely do so without worry of lawsuits for off-label use.

to add to my migraine disgust...i stepped in dog poo in my flip flops today (unknowingly due to the migraine haze), and now my foyer stinks.  EWWWWW.

2. i have a migraine and i am home from work today.  what a nice way to ring in the new year.

3. despite the migraine, i am obsessed with checking a. my email, b. lsn, and c. lsd to see if i can be expecting acceptances soon.

4. migraines suck, but there's a new drug approved to PREVENT them (topamax), and a side effect is weight loss...could there BE a nicer solution?

Acceptances, Denials, and Waitlists / Re: Got a few letters today

Congrats!  Did Pitt give you $$?

All I got was junk mail...the junkiest junk of junk mail.  And a Victoria's Secret catalog, but I get one of those every day!

So, I had this prof in college who directly supervised me throughout an internship.  She was such a hard-nosed b*tch about deadlines and accuracy and thoroughness.  So, I asked her to write a LOR for me, thinking that she would be the same as she had expected us to be.  Her her husband is even in law school, and I thought that maybe he would clue her in to how important the LORs are (if she didn't already know).  (And, it was too late in the game to get the paperwork to someone else...)Well, I had to call/email her a million times to get her to send it (and I made it as easy as possible with self-addressed stamped envelopes and labels, etc.) and when she did send it, there was a huge error in the return address.  I asked her to fix the error and to return the letter to the LSAC, and the b*tch never did it.

Now, I feel obligated to throw everything back in her face exactly how she did to us when we were undergrads.  Burn the bridge to a certain extent.

She was my only prof to write a letter, so I'm just sending it with the address error...hopefully they'll pin the fault on her and not on me.

Sorry...just venting. >:(

Just wondering.  When did you apply? What did the envelopes look like?  Any $?  Your numbers?
