General Off-Topic Board / Re: What to do in the meantime...?
« on: December 06, 2004, 05:18:52 PM »
No kidding!  Since Saturday I've been *slightly* addicted (okay, that's an understatement).  Today, couldn't wait to see if there were more undiscovered answers to questions just remembered from Saturday's test.  This site provides much more entertainment than the average night of prime time TV.  I'm about to start to read 1L, but I'm nervous about what I may find in the book...

General Off-Topic Board / What to do in the meantime...?
« on: December 06, 2004, 05:12:02 PM »
Now that my nights aren't filled with practice tests, 35 minute sections, and logic game practice...I'm left feeling empty.

Having graduated from school 2+ years ago, I am left with no finals to study for.
Having ceased caring about my job, I am left with no desire to fill my nights studying about prescription drugs.
Having ended over a year ago, Sex and the City is only a faint memory...
Having no boyfriend...well, nevermind...

What is a girl to do.  Any ideas to help pass the time until Jan 4 rolls around?

sorry about the typo above (stau...stay).  I'm usually pretty good about avoiding things like that.   :-\

If anyone is planning to go to PITT or Duquesne (and I decide to stau in Pittsburgh as well...very likely), I have a house about a 15 minute commute from the school (must drive or use public transportation).  It's a nice, new townhouse, and I think that I'm going to rent out my second anyone who is interested, let me know.  FYI: I have a dog (a sweet boxer named ELLA), but would rather have no other pets...I'm a non smoker and will prefer to keep my house that way.  It's completely furnished...rooms are large with vaulted ceilings...Male or female would be okay...would even consider having 2 other roomies, but they would have to share a room.  Any takers?

Studying for the LSAT / Re: Test superstitions
« on: December 05, 2004, 02:14:55 PM »
no superstitions...but i was seated in # 13.  The proctor asked if that was okay with me...i have nothing against 13, but I guess some do...

I just discovered CYE...what a great show!  It is much closer to "real life" than Seinfeld ever was (though at its peak, Seinfeld was great).  I can't get enough of it...

And, what is the deal with the wife...What does she see in him (besides his hilarity)?

Wish I could move on, but this LSAT means to much for me. My GPA blows, I need 167 to get into a decent school.

Where do you want to go?

Well, after 2 months of thinking about the LSAT, and about 3 hours of reviewing posts about it...I'm ready to move on.

I'm busting open a bottle of wine...

I absolutely agree!  Pharma sales's torture.  Only, I just took the LSAT today, so I have until at LEAST February till I can feel the same as you.  I envy you...
Hopefully for my 25th birthday present, I'll get some admission offers...with lots of $$ behind them...then PEACE OUT to my job!

point taken.
