My dog is posted to the left...see...She's a boxer, and she's great.  If I may, I'd like to give only 2 pieces of advice:

1. Adopt a dog if you can.  There are lots of rescue programs for virtually every breed of dog, and just because they're in a rescue program does not mean that they're flawed in any way.  Some are, but most aren't, and rescue organizations adopt pure bred dogs from shelters as a service.  They're usually fostered in someone's home, so the transition isn't as harsh.  And, if breed doesn't matter, there are lots of puppies (esp. now, due to the holidays) at the shelters as well...

2. If you will be working full time with law school part time, or if you're going to go full time, consider this choice (getting a dog) carefully.  I have a fear that I may be forced to find a new home for Ella sometime in the future, because law school may keep me out of my house more than a full time job.  I already feel bad that I leave her alone all day, but if it's anything like my friends in law school say, 14 hour days spent in the law library won't be very pleasing to my furry friend.

If you do end up with a dog...sex doesn't really matter unless you want to breed it in the future.  Ella acts like a man...she loves to hump.

or is it the prisoner number from les mis?

It is the prisoner # from Les Mis.  But I bet that it's a zipcode also.  I'm too lazy to google it after working on my thesis, though.

By the way, I don't think your name is that stripper-ish...

I knew that I recognized that number from somewhere...I LOVE Les Mis...have seen it 3 times...once more in Jan.

the champagne of beers!  NO that was the catch...because of past indecencies (trainers and trainees "flirting") we were not allowed to expense any alcohol!  Luckily I made friends with the front desk guy at the Homewood Suites (in Lansdale) and he'd leave the kegs in the lobby tapped all night.  (They had a "dinner" every night with free Yuengling and Coors Light...he'd take the handle off, but the taps were always open).  My training class loved it!

Buster's would too, were it not for the presence of the beer bottle. ;)
