I got my books (the required ones) at the Pitt bookstore. With your pitt ID (or with a printout of your schedule and a photo id) there is no tax on the books. They have everything, and I got 2 used that were virtually spotless. I'll get my studyaids used on amazon.com or half.com. My books were around $575.
If we all post schedules, maybe we can figure out who's in which section...esp. when it comes to the small ones for legal writing...
Here is my schedule: SECTION A1
Contracts - Prof. Harry Flechtner (Section 1020)
Legal Process - Prof. NATHENSON (Section 1020)
**EDIT** The peoplesoft data is wrong... instead of Prof. Brake, I have Prof. Nathenson for Legal Process**
Torts - Prof. Lawerence Frolik (Section 1030)
Crim. Law - Prof. John Burkoff (Section 1015)
Legal Writing - Prof. James Flannery (Section 1035)
YOU CAN SEE HOW PROFESSORS ARE RATED BY PAST STUDENTS (not all, but some are on there) AT WWW.RATEMYPROFESSORS.COM
I'm guessing we'll get the schedules this week. Charmaine said that they'd be mailed in the next few weeks in her email at the beginning of July. I'm anxious about it too... But most of the financial aid stuff I've looked at seems to have pretty rapid turn-around times in terms of approving a Private Loan.
See you in August!
