Acceptances, Denials, and Waitlists / Re: G-town waitlisters

I don't think I can take much more of this...the high of thinking something is coming "by the end of the week" just doesn't seem worth it when you come crashing down after no actual decision.

Oh least we have each other.

I have been away for a few days and haven't had a chance to check out this thread, so forgive me if I bring you all back to old topics.

I received an email yesterday from GULC saying there were no openings right now, but after their June 1st seat deposit they would forward along any new information. Did everyone that got an email receive the same one? (I think it is the third at this point)

You have some great options. Was your email along the same lines as mine?

Did anyone else respond to the email yet and hear anything?

Lots of questions I know, but I was so anxious to have this matter behind me after this week...but...I suppose that is why they call it the WAIT list.

They didn't really specify, but I had assumed it would be by email.

In the email it said they would get back by the end of this week, I haven't received anything though.  Anyone get accepted or at least notified??

lawbounder...makes sense to me, particularly if you know you want to go back west anyways.

Yeah, I am on the preferred wait list.

Thanks for the response lawbounder.  So far it seems that you are the only other one on here to have received this email. They mentioned "by the end of next week" for notification, which is this week so I am getting antsy.

I think I saw on another thread that you will be attending UCLA.  Any particular reason why you are already decided?

I hear ya.  I'm officially done today though, so I suppose I can let undergrad go and concentrate on LSD.

Acceptances, Denials, and Waitlists / Re: WLd at Cornell

A couple questions about Cornell.  Were you originally on the reserve list, or was your placement on the wait list the first word you heard?  Just curious because I'm on the reserve list and still waiting.

As for your other schools, I am in the same situation with several wait lists. I'd say make your pick right now out of your acceptances, and then kind of draw a line in the sand as to how long you will wait for the others.  Personally, I don't know a lot about the schools where you are acceptance, so rather than give you bad advice, I'd just say that regardless of your choice, you will be at a great school.

good luck.
