Choosing the Right Law School / Re: A thread for LSAT scores below 150

I am completely impressed with Dolce in how upbeat and non-combative her response was to XMichiganX. Frankly, I can't believe that a former-teacher would regularly use the term "dork". Perhaps this is a reason for the current state of our education system.

Are you mixing up "complete" with "decision"?  Generally I have always assumed you go to decision before any mail is sent out.

I think you have the right idea with limiting your safeties and piling on a bunch of reaches, particularly with your split LSAT score. Some of your reaches take the highest score anyways, and like you said, you should only need one safety if you are honest with yourself of your chances.

I honestly believe your LSAT average and gpa will be more than good enough at Northeastern, Brooklyn and American as well. For safeties it is generally considered safe to go with schools where you are above the 75 percentile in both catagories (gpa, lsat). You are at least very close to the 75% in all of these.

Did you receive the Cornell acceptance at your permanent address?

I don't have any answers for you, but I am definitely interested in what people think since I'm weighing them myself.

You were rejected from BC and GW but were accepted at GULC?! I would never have thought that would happen.

Great point nontradMike. Definitely something to consider no matter where a person stands politically.

Sleepy...lol I like the sense of humor in your analogy.
