Absolutely. Cover the entire T-14 and then hit up some T-25s for safeties. If you are feeling that nervous, at most apply to one lower tier 1 for peace of mind. 23

I don't know why people are still arguing with hylas at this point. It seems to me that he is making perfect sense. He isn't saying every law grad, or even every top tier grad, but rather that attending LS in the upper part of the top tier should reasonably give one a shot at a 6 figure job. I guess I am missing what is so far fetched about this statement.
Excluding HYS, I would say top 1/3 to 1/2 (depending on the school) would place a law grad in a very competitive position for a variety of positions they might like...BIGLAW included. I think it is very reasonable for someone attending Fordham to believe they have a good shot at a 6 figure BIGLAW job. Not for certain, but with much greater confidence than perhaps at other schools. 24

After reading this thread for awhile...
I really think the school's prestige matters when one talks about starting salaries. To lump all LS grads into one group is sort of nieve. It would seem to me that the job prospects (BIGLAW or public) vary greatly by school. 25

I have given up on the wait list miracle myself. I've signed a lease on a place in Boston, and I am feeling very good about attending BC. It is a wonderful feeling having some certainty for the fall.
