Law School Admissions / Re: Northwestern Interview?
« on: March 03, 2006, 05:38:44 AM »
What are some of the questions they ask you? Any do's  or do not's ?

there should be some old threads about this. search for them.

hahahaha. there's this street/area called "itaewon," here. it's the area for foreigners - shops/restaurants/bars/and even "gentlemen only" clubs. housing is dirt cheap cause it's kinda ghetto. shopping is actually pretty good, and some good restaurants with ethnic food like thai and indian. you go there around day time and you will see buncha "tall slender" russian chicks. you go there in night time and you will see them again, only then they will be wearing lot less clothing..  ;)

Erm...go to Russia, you'll see that they're not.

clearly, they only export the best.  :D

:D now that i think about it, only russian females I've seen in Korea were either dancers, or ummm "entertainers."

very biased sample i suppose..

When did you fill out need access?  Just wondering how fast UCLA's turnaround is =).

hmmm maybe 2 weeks ago? you are seriously thinking about ucla??

I'm definitely considering UCLA =).  I was actually just more interested in how fast schools got back to you after you filled out Need Access (which I did just this past weekend).

are you gonna attend any of their friday host luncheon thing?

Right, the human metabolism naturally slows down during winter too to conserve food. It's an evolutionary trait. It's great if food is hard to come by, but in this day and age it just makes us fat...

how come russian chicks are all tall and slender..  ???

General Off-Topic Board / Re: what's your major?
« on: March 02, 2006, 07:32:21 PM »
studied business w/ a minor in English(lit) at a large public school - loved both subjects.

was gonna double major but the job I was working at had promotion opp.s for degree holders, so chose the faster route.

I've had some bad experiences with Dell in the past, so they are out of the question for me.

I've considered getting a Thinkpad, but the Lenovo site is so damn hard to order from (there are like 3 pages of add-ons and accessories that they try to stick you with, and I never know which of them are worth it).

I really like the Sony Vaio FS line, but no one here seems to consider them a real option.  Any reason why?

i am using a tr3 sony vaio. i have been using it for two years and am satisfied with what it has to offer - document creating/web surfing - which i figure are the two most needed things @law school.

but anyway, ppl in general seem to not like sony vaios. wonder why too..

btw, i am totally not tech-savvy.
