Do those two schools have solid placement in NYC?  Is there any sort of database to check this out?

Every time I get accepted by another school, I still find myself struggling with my decision.  There are very few schools that would be a sure "lock" for me - and I've been getting rejected by all of them.  Still, in 30 years, I want to be doing some sort of civil liberties law, but in the years directly following law school I see myself much more in a "BIGlaw" firm of some persuasion, hopefulyl in NYC.  I've been accepted to Wash U St. Louis w/money, George Washington, Vanderbilt and Fordham.  I understand that Fordham is strong in NYC - but it is substantially stronger than the others, enough to outweigh it's obvious lack of national reputation?  If you were me, where would you go?

In at Vandy - got the letter/big packet in the mail last week, I believe (I was out of town).

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing - but I guess if a degree from Duke instead of the other school you already paid a seat deposit is worth more than 500 dollars or so, it's worth it.

What do you say, just call the admissions office and tell them how much money other schools have given you?  Is that an awkawrd conversation to have?

Don't wait - just call :) good luck! (I really doubt that schools would be cruel enough to call with a question about the applicatio AND not leave a message - EVIL! -and unlikely-)
