Acceptances, Denials, and Waitlists / Duke Denial

Got it in the mail yesterday.  Pretty much assuming that I'll end up at GW or Fordham this fall, at this rate.  Gonna be some rough decision-making for sure.

Aww, man, sorry to hear that.  I'm still waiting to hear back from them - they seem to be taking forever with their response

Anyone thinking of going?  Do you know if Fordham would be able to shack you up or would I have to stay with friends?
Trying to make a difficult decision between Fordham & GW - figure I might as well visit the two.

I'm sorry to hear about the ding - hopefully some other schools will be more understanding - best of luck!

Choosing the Right Law School / Re: ONLY 10 More mail days in March!!

At this point - I am hoping for NO mail for the next 10 mail days --- I figure I have a better shot at an acceptance if the schools wait until April.  I've heard bad things about March decisions :)

probably pretty close to it.  i'm hoping to nab a sweet summer associate job to help pay for my 2L or 3L years, but that is probably unlikely.  I'm looking at law school as a sort of "investment" in my future and it would be wise for me to go to the best school, even if it means that I am a couple thousand more in debt at the end - hopefully the difference will be made up within a few years post-graduation.

This summer, I'm probably going to be waitressing - talk about a dead-end job.  But I suppose it'll give my brain a nice rest before the craziness of law school begins!
