Well, it came in the mail today. I got rejected from GULC - I was at least hoping for a waitlist - BOOOOOO

AHHHH - All I know is that after checking it like a psychopath for the past two weeks - I FINALLY went decision. But now it's worse than before --- I want to know "what" the decision was! How long does it usually take for the mail to actually arrive?
So I haven't filled out a FAFSA yet because I'm getting my tax return mailed to me from home. Is this the reason why I've been hearing nothing from schools in terms of scholarships/financial aid?? Am I way to late with FAFSA for any money to be left?
So I'm still waiting to hear back from a lot of school -- most of them I just got complete about a week ago but for some, say NU & GULC, I've been complete for qute some time (they only needed one rec). Now, since they were reaches, I'm thinking to myself that every day that goes by is better for me because they're actually considering my application. Is that compeltely off? Is there a certain "time limit" after which they really are just holding on to your application without seriously considering it any more?
Sitting in class today, which is run in a psuedo-socratic method type way (it's the professor's gimmick, he wants us to get a feel for what law school is like) we were talking about the first amendment and supreme court cases and I just realized, and wanted to stand up and shout, I WANT TO BE IN LAW SCHOOL NOWWWWWWWWWWWWWW
I just submitted my application to Cornell last week (late rush of apps to Michigan, Cornell, and Columbia, random). I was looking at numbers on LSN --- last year, ONE person with my index number got accepted -- this year, there's already a handful accepted. That's a crazy turn around. Is there anything that could account for this difference? Is that accross the board for all schools, you think?
So, I went "complete" at Georgetown & Northwestern about 7 weeks ago, with one letter of rec. My other two recs finally got processed about a week ago and will be arriving at those school some time next week. Now, Northwestern said that they will be making a decision within 6-8 weeks from the complete date (I haven't yet gotten a decision from them). These are the only schools that would have be as complete with only one rec, do I contact them and tell them that there will be more LoRs on the way and to hold out, or just cross my fingers and hope that they will hold off/decide favorably anyway (unlikely, haha). Or will they not really care and just make a decision whenever the heck they want to make a decision and not wait for me and my slow LSAC processing time?
