Does anyone else feel really retarded for applying to entirely too many schools that are out of their reach? I mean, I don't really care because I do just want to know if by some freak chance I could get in somewhere out of my range...but I feel a little silly looking at everyone else's stats and comparing them to how mine so do not measure up. Oh well. Here's to the silly people.

Thanks for the feedback...I don't mind your bluntness. I realize that I don't have much of a chance at most of the schools that I applied to, but I figured I wouldn't know if I didn't try. I have no problem with going to Miami or Georgia State, I think I could get a good job with either of them.
I'm even leaning a bit more towards GS, simply because I already live in Atlanta. But I am going to seriously consider all of the schools that I end up getting into (even if it's just GS and Miami). Miami is a beautiful city and I know I could be happy there too. If anyone else has more to say about Miami or Georgia State, I'd love to hear the feedback.

I just got accepted at Miami and I know nothing about it. If anyone has any inside info on details about the law school or the area, it would be much appreciated! How easy is it to get a job, quality of life, cost of living, reputation of LS...etc.
Thanks in advance.

I got my Miami acceptance last week (12/2) and it came in a standard size envelope with about 3 or 4 pages in it. No email, no phone call...just the letter. Hope that helps give some more info on what to expect. Good luck everyone.

I haven't heard back yet either, but I am totally expecting a ding. I'd love to get in there, but I'm out of state...

I got dinged at GULC too. I was totally expecting it though with my numbers and the more I read about Georgetown...the less I wanted to go there. I applied to a lot of schools that are a huge reach for me just to see if I could get in to any of them, so I'm not bummed at all about getting some rejection letters.

I was accepted at Miami last week (12/2 or 12/3), which I was totally not expecting so early in the process. It was my first decision letter and it was really nice to get accepted somewhere first before all of the rejections start rolling in. At least now I have somewhere to go next fall! Does anyone know anything about Miami that I should know?

I received an email from UMD yesterday (12/9) asking me to verify if information that they had recorded about me was accurate. It did not say when I would hear back. Did anyone else get this email...or are they just sending it to people that they are going to reject? Their application process doesn't seem to make any sense.
