I'm looking to practice at a big law firm in Atlanta when I graduate. Can you give me your thoughts on going to GSU vs. Emory. (I haven't heard back from Emory yet, so it may not even matter). I'm leaning on going to GSU even if I get into Emory because I have to pay for it myself and there is a huge price difference.
All I have heard about GSU law is really great...any specifics that you can give me on GSU would be much appreciated (your experience, etc.) Thanks! 3

If you get into GSU we'll have to hang out and go to a few jam band concerts in ATL, there are some new bands that are pretty cool...not Phish, but still pretty fun.

I'm sure you will find out soon whether or not you got in. I had my app in by the end of October and they didn't make a decision on me until February, so they can be a little slow. You'll probably get the letter before the status changes online, so stop obsessively checking it...although, if you're like me, you'll keep doing it anyway just because.
If you do get in, there's a forum that's been started for admitted GSU students...you should check it out... http://groups.yahoo.com/group/gsulaw2008/ Hope that makes you feel a little better (by the way, I had very similar stats to you and I got in)... 8

That's what I was thinking...go to GSU and just bust my ass to get good grades. It would totally pay off and then I would be saving at least 30K, if not more. I've heard that all of the students that go to GSU really like it. But I have heard negative things about Emory from some of the students...any thoughts on student satisfaction with the two schools?
