I guess it really depends on where you want to go.  I bet most of the schools I am applying to would give money for scores like that.

Studying for the LSAT / Re: Princeton, Testmasters or Kaplan?
« on: March 10, 2004, 08:26:28 PM »
I have taken the Kaplan course and overall rasied my score 7 points.  I did all the homework and worked my butt off.  I have heard testmasters is a much better choice, but wasn't offered in my area.

I took the first LSAT with little prep and got a 142.  Then directly after the Kaplan course I took the Dec' LSAT and just bombed (144) it compared to my practice tests.  I was nervous and felt that the Dec LSAT was really difficult.

Finally,  I took the Feb. lsat and took a break for awhile and pulled a 149.  It was still low for my practice tests, but I guess it will have to work.  I am applying to 3 schools that take the highest score so I hope it helps.

Birdhousebirdy,

Those are great numbers.. I'm sure you will get in alot of schools.. Where else did you apply?

Texas Southern seems like your best bet.. You would be a long shot at St. Mary's and Texas Wesleyan, but a possiblity...

Good Luck man..

I'm a mixture of what you said IVY..  I went from a 142 to a 144 and finally a 149.  I'm applying to a couple of schools that take the highest score.. Hopefully btw the fact that I took the test over and a few minor dings on my criminal record, it won't kill me..

I just want to here what others have to say about this... Is it bad thing to take the LSAT 3 times, improving more each time?
