At this point, I don't know if a criminal record hurts or not... I just know that I have been waitlisted at schools that I thought I was a shoo-in... Maybe it is just the southern, conservative part of the country, but I think it does affect your chances.. Yours doesn't sound like the record I have, so it may be fine.
I have a DUI, MIP, Disturbing the Peace, and Littering.. They happened approx. 4 years ago. I was truthful and told them this was about the time that I found out my father was dying. I had never been in trouble with the law before that period and haven't since...

Well it really depends on whether I get into my first choice. It is a part time program and I wouldn't have to move or anything. I would keep my current job as a network admin and go to school at night. But it is still a long shot...
Work long enough to save money to afford a storage place for the majority of my stuff, find a new place half way across the country, and move. I would guess I would work until mid to late July.
I think I just need some reassurance for my chances of attending Mississippi College. It is the one I am really betting on.

I see that they accepted one student that was 148/3.17.
