Where should I go next fall? / Do I need more safeties
« on: January 19, 2005, 09:54:28 AM »
I think I have finally finished my applications. I am concerned, however, that too many of my schools are reaches.  Should I add more realistic schools?  My numbers are 158/3.911 in an honors program.  Major international business, minors European studies/econ (I tried to play on working 35hrs a week while taking overload credits). Anyways, here is my list as it stands.

American University
Indiana University Bloomington
Indiana University Indianapolis
University of California Hastings
University of Florida
University of North Carolina
Valparaiso University

Any advice would be appreciated.

No particular reason for the public school list, just worked out that way.

I have finished most of my applications but am feeling a little anxiety about them and am looking to possibly add a few to the list.  I have a 3.902 in an honors program and a 158LSAT and work 35hrs a week.  Any suggestions on additional schools I should look at would be appreciated.

Already applied:

University of North Carolina
University of Florida
American University
Indiana University Bloomington
Indiana University Indianapolis
Valparaiso University

LSAT horror stories / Re: applying to a top school
« on: November 19, 2004, 03:56:22 PM »
I have also worked two jobs while keeping my 3.9 for about 35hrs a week.  Weekends as a bartender/server and days as an office assistant between classes.  Is this something I should elaborate on?  Would it help my chances at a school like Berkeley? Also, should I bother applying to Texas?

LSAT horror stories / applying to a top school
« on: November 17, 2004, 11:39:00 PM »
I have a 3.9 GPA in an honors program at my University and was looking to apply to one of the top law school, however, only received a 158 on the exam.  I have considered applying to a few of the top school anyways, is this something I should still consider or are my LSAT scores to low to justify the application.  Any advice would be appreciated.
