I will be attending tomorrow as well, provided the weather allows. I understand its supposed to sleet all day which will make the drive somewhat difficult.
All the comments have been really helpful. I am, sadly, disapointed about the scholarships, although I highly doubt I would have been even considered. All Indiana schools have severe money problems right now, though, so I cant say im all that surprised.
Are those of you that are planning on going there from Indiana? What made you choice IU-Indy?

Also on the waitlist...if i remember correctly, the letter said offers usually are made late summer....I spoke to some people that were pulled off the week before classes, so who knows. Hopefully I will be one of the lucky ones.

I think you might get better info if you clarified which areas you would most like to attend. As much as people classify "North" and "South" I think there are very distinct divisions even within some states, at least there are in Indiana, and i would imagine the same is true of Ohio (I noticed that was on your list). I havent been to the Northeast, so I cant testify to that situation, but I would image distinct differences between say New Hampshire and Maryland in terms of cultural things.

I just got an acceptance this weekend so good luck. The lady in the admissions office said they were hoping to have all decisions made by the end of April

Well I finally get to say bye to the nowhere club (although I have not been an active poster). Finally got accepted to IU Indy. Hate to say it, but glad to go

Thanks for all the congrats! After five rejections and four waitlists, I was beyond excited (granted, almost all my schools were huge reaches). There is still hope out there for those who are waiting to hear

Its 1 in the morning and I am posting on this thread instead of writing the paper that is due at 8 tommorrow. Not only have I known about this paper for two weeks, but instead of working on it today before work, I slept all day. Then said, hey I will get off work early and do it then. Ha. Still working.. Is this senioritis or just stupidity?
My 3.91 is going to fall very quickly at this rate.
Bye bye top graduation honors.......

Great mail day for me. Got my first acceptance at IU Indy.
I also was placed on American's waitlist where I fully expected a rejection. Couldnt be happier!

I was waitlisted to. I called to see if I could send any additional info and was told no (quite rudely actually) and that I just had to wait.
Did anyone else get this response?
