Northstar is on there, is under THE ancronym, i don't see access though. Either way, good call on that Wachovia loan, triple rebate sounds like a good deal as long as you're paying your loan back like you should be.

Yes, I'm the finance and economics guy... but that being said, I have my personal biases that I have to work around. I'm partial to big banks, which is funny seeing as I work at a small credit union right now. I tend to distrust strictly finance companies at times. My gut instinct tells me that I'd prefer going with Bank of America or Wells Fargo or Chase, but I am biased towards them since my fiance is thinking about entering one of their management training programs.

The key to my bias is flexibility, big banks have the flexibility to do things small banks and finance corps can't seem to do. I know being a employee of a credit union that first-hand we do not have the abilities that a large bank has. My interest is peaked by Access, Northstar, and even some of the other opportunities. I'm just not quite sure which direction I'm headed. I'm looking to take out the whole $18,500 to help subsidize rent or other expenses. I have another roughly $5K that I could take out just in case, but I'm not sure if I will. I'm up in the air on what I will actually do at this point.

If my fiance gets an offer from one of the banks in Lubbock, whether it be wells fargo, citi, bank of america, or capital plains. I will give them by business. Otherwise, I have no clue where to orginate my borrowing. I was curious as to if there was a predominate lending company that us Techsans were going to use.

While we're all waiting for our financial aid messes to straighten themselves out, let's talk lending sources, Who are y'all using and why? It seems like we have a ton of options and this is my first time getting financial aid. I was lucky enough to pay cash for undergrad.

Who are y'all using and what's your reasoning for selecting them?

Same here! It's even showing out of state tuition for me, I was just talking to them last night because they said everything was showing right on my login, but when I checked it was still screwed up. Now I check again today at work and they've wiped everything out!

Argh! The financial aid drama continues! Next year when the law schools new financial aid advisor is doing this, it will be a LOT less hectic. That University is waaaay to big for one financial aid office!

Well at least I know I'm not the only one having a heart attack over this!

Hey,

just wanted to let y'all know since I live in Cleveland. If you're looking for a great place to live near case everyone check out Little Italy, they have some really nice new apartment complexes up there off of mayfield that are very close to Case.

I know this little bit of advice is pretty late, but damn, if I were going to Case I sure would check those places out!

For our sanity, I hope we are. That way we're able to share LSD outlines for classes. If we're all in different sections we'll be hurting.

HAHA, When I sent the second deposit due this month a letter came with my receipt saying that we'll get our schedule in July sometime!

Who is John Galt?

HAHA, no John Krahmer is a prof at TTU Law. He's the resident UCC guru and texas bank lawyer review supervisor. Basically he's everything I want to be in my law career all rolled into one. I already have an idol at TTU Law!
