I am getting very frustrated trying to contact previous employers about employment dates... does anyone know if it is possible order some sort of background check in order ot find out this sort of info?

Do i write 06/02 - 09/02 OR 06/02 - 08/02 ? My brain likes the first option because 9-6=3 which is the number of months i worked there. Anyone know the "correct" way? 15

When looking up one's various drug and alcohol related traffic infractions it is as simple as googling "County Clerk of Courts" without the quotes.
One should then easily be able to find that county's clerk of courts website...and online traffic infraction database. //replace County with the county where the infraction took place. Stay tuned for more helpful hints from Willy. 18

So i have all my jobs listed on my resume like this:
07/03 - 11/03 BLAH BLAH INC. I worked a temp job for only one week (in fact it may have only been 3 days I really dont remember) and I listed it as follows: 05/01 SOandSo Temp Agency Should I have been more specific? like... 05/03/01 - 05/07/01 SOandSo Temp Agency It didn't seem like a big deal at the time, and I couldn't remember the exact date, just that it was in May of 2001. Perhaps I shouldn't have even listed it at all...but its too late now Could this get me in trouble for Character and fitness if i dont send in a correction? I think its obvious that I didn't mean to misrepresent myself as 1 month of WE means nothing....but now im ultra paranoid. 19

Applied 10/29 report requested 11/02. They have everythign but the LSDAS report...and they said that if its not in today then I will be pushed into the regular applicant pool
 This really sucks... how could it take so long for them to receive the LSDAS report? ANyone else in this situation? |
