#1 - I agree about the numbers. Admissions is 99.99% numbers, as far as I can tell from my own experience and what I've heard from others (including LSN).
#2 - If I join Mensa I am going to steal Eegahh's idea and make that shirt.

According to an associate dean of something-or-other I spoke to today. Then, knowing that I knew that she knew my admission decision, she told me I could appeal starting May 1.

Thanks, good luck to you, too. If I'm in, you're in for sure. But, honestly, I'm probably out.

I went complete Sunday. Weird, huh? I expect something will come in the mail by Thursday.

Washington & Lee, dated 3-17. "The admissions committee was faced with a number of very difficult choices, and we were unable to offer admission to many good applicants." But they didn't say I was one of them!

Anyone else go to decision Sunday at Hastings? Man.... I just want this entire process to be over with.

I'm having similar urges. San Diego has a strong emotional attraction for me because I grew up there. But I just went to decision at Hastings...

I'm skeptical by nature, but I also have a powerful urge to believe that everyone has the best of intentions and to accept them on their own terms. By many accounts though, politics and Hollywood are like parallel universes where "truth" is amorphus and all-but-irrelevant.

update: i'm also deferred. i have a childish urge to say "screw you" to the schools that didn't jump at the chance to have me and go with one that said "yes." but no, i'll wait out the cycle as long as i can. uga's deposit is only $50, after all.

thanks for the almost-condolence. i think it's because wisconsin is slightly favoring gpa over lsat this cycle. uga, on the other hand, is slightly favoring lsat. or maybe my application was lame. i think wisconsins was the first one i did back in december. or maybe i'm just a loser. that's the thought always lurking at the back of my head. but good luck to you!

i had to send an e-mail to get my status changed from submitted to complete or whatever. not that it matters....
