Law School Discussion

Guys there is a reasin for being underrepresented---- Grades and lsat scores. How come Jews are not underrepresented, they are defently a minority in this country, smaller than the balck population and hispanic population, for example.

That is the million dollar question...if the hispanic and african american population is larger...but they are underepresented in law school, then you need to ask yourself what is going on here? There should be more attending relative to their population demographics, hence quite possibly due social/economic/educational factors that prevent attainment to higher academics, information, and competive institution, etc.

Pookie-we can't use the LSAC and send them one letter with a waiver, in which they in turn send to all the schools?

Do you recall which schools require school specific letters? This seems like alot of work. Does that mean for example that a professor has to write a letter and change the names of the school on the letter to which you apply?

yes their are alot of asians who are socially disadvantage--such as in San Francisco and elsewhere--I would think that Southeast Asians are considered URM. I don't know of many Vietnamese, Loation, Cambodian, or Thais in law school do you?

did you still write an addena even though with your stats of 166/3.68?
